Code of conduct (Misconduct)

The purpose of this procedure is to ensure an appropriate standard of conduct by employees. Where employees are involved in potential misconduct, the employer is entitled to take disciplinary action against the employees. Disciplinary action should be corrective and progressive, but at the same time it is also recognized that some types of misconduct are so serious that dismissal may be appropriate for a first instance of misconduct.
